Physical Testing Category including: Tensile Strength, Compressive Strength, Shear Strength, Insulation Value, Dimensional Stability, Density, Water Absorption, Water Vapor Transmission, UV Resistance, Heat Cycling, Freeze Thaw Resistance, Wear and Cleanability, Color Change, Durability, Hardness, Tear Strength.
Fire Testing Category including: Surface Burning Characteristics, Calorimetry.
Energy Storage Category including: Battery Module, Battery Unit and Battery System Testing.
Our goal is to help provide the actualization of the highest level of public safety by offering the ability to quickly and efficiently test products and obtain results that are repeatable and understandable to help hone in formulations to meet the regulatory hurdles required by a product or system category.
We have designed our process from your first contact with us to the report in your inbox step to be as seamless and efficient as possible with a minimal impact to the surrounding environment.
Our testing equipment was designed and oriented in our lab-space to facilitate this goal. The first 1/3 of our lab floor was laid out to accommodate fire testing while still maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors and surrounding environment. All of our fire testing equipment is routed through a 99% efficiency Thermal Oxidizer to clean the exhaust from the fire lab before being released from our building, eliminating particulates and offensive odors associated with fire testing.
We utilize an Electric Vehicle and have an on site Electric Vehicle Charging Station with the J1776 charging protocol, if you drive an EV and want to check us out, don't hesitate to stop by and charge while on a tour.
Furthermore, we re-use and filter the water used in our testing equipment as to further lower our negative impact on natural resources while testing your products.
With the worlds growth accelerating at rates never before seen, the pressures to produce have never been higher. You do everything you can to develop a new cutting edge product and want to get it to market to revolutionize the industry.
The design, formulation, application, production, manufacturing, training, sales material, logistics support, trade deals all have been made, all you have left is to make sure you have met the safety requirements.
Traditionally the testing process has been very slow to get underway leading many to skip this step until a code official stopped the installation of a product, or an unexpected and tragic catastrophe appears some years down the road. You don't want this to happen.
At Right Testing Labs, we get it done right and we get it done fast.
The Steiner tunnel test method's use an enclosed chamber to evaluate a 24' long x 2' wide sample and helps assess the surface burning characteristics of the material to determine in a laboratory setting if the material meets certain flammability safety requirements in the building code.
Our 100% computer modeled and controlled Steiner tunnel system exceeds the requirements of ASTM E84, UL723, NFPA 255, ASTM E2768, CAN/ULC S102, CAN/ULC S102.2, CAN/ULC S102.3, and CSFM 12-7A-5 using state of the art sensors, data acquisition hardware and software designed to revolutionize the way test are conducted and reported. Other test methods utilizing the Steiner Tunnel Test chamber are in the works and coming soon.
This equipment is run through a 99% efficiency Thermal Oxidizer to render any smoke or odors inert prior to leaving our building.
A calorimeter hood pulls in the products of combustion (smoke) from a material on fire and through various sensors determines the heat the material releases when on fire.
Our Calorimetry Hood was designed to allow a variety of products to be tested in our fully conditioned laboratory.
The computer designed exhaust train exceeds the requirements of ASTM E1537, ASTM E1590, California Technical Bulletin 121, California Technical Bulletin 129, California Technical Bulletin 133, CPSC 16 CFR Part 1633, CSFM 12-7A-1, CSFM 12-7A-2, CSFM 12-7A-3, CSFM 12-7A-4 Part A as well as NFPA 286 and UL 1715.
The Calorimeter Hood System also Utilizes a dedicated state of the art data acquisition hardware with revolutionary purpose built software which will change the expectation for how these tests are reported.
Do you want to conduct your own tests? Our world class team is in place to build, install, implement and train your team to run your own tests on equipment which can obtain accreditation from an ILAC signatory Accreditation Agency as well as Test Data Acceptance Programs offered by several ISO 17065 Accredited Certification Bodies.
We have a wide range of experience and have the ability to develop and evaluate new methods based on a standardized test method, or your quality control requirements to help improve your dedication to product safety and reliability.
If you would like to improve your product by testing on site, reach out to us to discuss how we can simplify that process.
